Mecha Knights: Nightmare is a dynamic action game about combat robots with a third-person view in a sci-fi setting. In 2049, at the height of the Second Cold War, a full-scale conflict is about to break out between NATO and the Russian-Chinese alliance. But a mysterious incident sends the world into an apocalyptic war. Suddenly, for everyone, nightmarish creatures of unknown origin appear from the bowels of the earth, plunging the world into horror and chaos. A young American pilot, Ethan, finds himself at the epicenter of it all. He will have to fight endless hordes of monsters in his mobile armor — powerful customizable mech.

Fun game. A mixture of Armored Core and a bunch of other games about slaughtering various zombies. It has quite decent English voice acting and something similar to ENT. At least each mission is accompanied by an entry from the GG’s diary, in which he writes his feelings and opinions. The plot also does not shine with a special excess of sharp turns: Something happened - and you and your partner were kicked out on duty. We fought off a couple of dozen tanks with helicopter support and a nuclear mushroom took off on the horizon, after which huge (the size of your Mech or larger) fear people begin to attack you. Well, then you begin to fight off this scourge, finding out that the territory of Russia has suddenly become a breeding ground for this dirty trick.

Забавная игра. Смесь Armored Core и кучи любых других игр про резню различных зомбарей. Имеет вполне приличную английскую озвучку и что-то похожее на ЛОР. По крайней мере к каждой миссии приложена запись из дневника ГГ, в которой он пишет свои ощущения и мнение. Сюжет тоже не блещет особым излишеством крутых поворотов: Что-то случилось — и вас с напарником выгнали на дежурство. Отбились от пары десятков танков с поддержкой вертолётов и на горизонте взлетел ядерный гриб, после чего на вас начинают переть огромные (Размером с ваш Мех и больше) страхолюдины. Ну а дальше вы начинаете отбиваться от этой напасти выясняя что территория России внезапно стала рассадником этой пакости.
