Memento Mori — atmospheric point and click adventure. Three valuable paintings were secretly removed from the Hermitage and replaced with elaborate forgeries. At first glance it might seem that this was the most ordinary theft. But a detailed investigation revealed that a little-known Finnish order was involved in the theft of the paintings. A kind of secret society, the history of which dates back many centuries. For centuries, the order tried to prevent certain paintings from being revealed to the general public. The basic idea of the society began with a legend from the first half of the 15th century. It said that there are paintings in which you can see the Angel of Death. Many artists wanted to depict him. Some waited their entire lives for the hour of death for this purpose. Those paintings in which the Angel of Death could be seen were stolen and carefully hidden.
Two characters are involved in the investigation of the theft of paintings. The first hero — He was brought into the investigation because of his connections with the criminal world. Once upon a time, he was brought to justice for counterfeiting and selling “antique” paintings. The second character — a girl from Russia, a police captain in St. Petersburg and part-time Russian representative at Interpol headquarters. On behalf of these heroes, the player will have to participate in the search for paintings that supposedly contain an image of the Angel of Death.
