Millipede

Millipede — The goal of the game is to destroy the centipede that moves down from the top of the screen. The centipede moves horizontally until it either hits an obstacle or reaches the edge of the screen, at which point it will drop down one row and change direction. Once it enters the player's gray maneuvering zone, it stays there and additional heads appear at intervals until both they and the centipede are destroyed. Shooting a body segment splits the centipede into 2 parts, from the back of which its own head grows. Colliding with any enemy costs the player one life.
