Played over 1k hours of Mount & Blade warband. A good game is not an indicator of further development, but responsive developers who listen to their community and the little things that happen when there is a dialogue between fans and the creators of the game are a formula for success for the further series of games. And Mount & Blade did it.
We have been waiting for the game for 8 years and finally we will be able to play on RND Steam or support the developers directly and purchase it through TaleWorlds.
Few developers indicate all the possibilities of the beta version of the game and the further development of the project through the plugin in steam rnd, you can familiarize yourself and learn about all the possibilities and nuances, both on their website and in the steam store (I don’t want to copy-paste and there are too many letters)
And now, in order: Already at the time of early access, the game has a global map, mini-missions, you can join the service of a lord, buy goods cheaply in one city and resell them in another , hire subordinates who provide their bonuses to the characteristics of the main character, you can participate in tournaments, get drunk in a tavern playing checkers, or move away from worldly life and rob trade caravans, thereby undermining the economy in different parts of the province.
There is only one drawback: there is no official Russifier for the text, but if you google it, you will find a fan-made Russian language, but it still has its shortcomings, namely: flags (without color), playing checkers (all in the same color) will be displayed incorrectly ) etc.
If you are still deciding whether to buy this game or not, then read fan sites for this game or just go to steamdb and in the statistics of active players you will see 100k online, and that says something.
As a result, I recommend this game to everyone, from regulars of this genre to beginners. The game has very responsive combat mechanics, at the time of the beta release I managed to get acquainted and I can say that it is better than in Mount & Blade Warband, there is no sagging from a blow, now you can’t swing a weapon and throw it through a block in a split second by changing the direction of the blow , as it was before.
