Need for Speed: The Run

Yeah! What the Need For Speed ​​series has been through. This is one of those wonders released in the series of these games. Personally, in my opinion, The Run deserves 3rd place in this series (1. Most Wanted (2005) 2. Hot Pursuit (2010)). The graphics are nice, the controls are good, the storyline, although not very big, is interesting, the bots are more or less adequate. The localization is excellent. Download it, you won’t regret it. Tested by a person who has walked it up and down more than once. Oh yes. The music there is just bomb!!

If we keep silent about the again missing tuning, then The Run turned out to be pretty good. There is some plot here and there is a clear goal - to cross the USA and overtake all rivals. But the most impressive thing is the surroundings. During the game we will drive along sandy roads in the desert, over snowy mountain peaks, past rivers and waterfalls. And this is only a small part, because here is, after all, a whole country in all its diversity.

Although the picture looks amazing, upon closer inspection you can find quite a few flaws. The music in the game is very difficult to hear, even at maximum volume, but it still fits perfectly. The series has virtually no problems with the soundtrack.

The Run was enticing with its idea of ​​racing cool cars across the USA. Not surprisingly, the same idea became the basis for a feature-length film based on NFS three years later. However, as it turned out, this is just a “developed” version of the “black list”. Why "developed"? Yes, because the number of drivers who even remotely resemble individual characters does not even reach ten, which is already less than in the “black list”. The plot matches the action - an uninteresting premise, complete indifference to what is happening on the screen (the main character is not a character, but just a dummy driving a car in the literal and figurative sense), a banal ending.

In the game you can see large cities of the USA while driving a car, there is a large fleet of vehicles and little tuning, a good plot with action scenes in a non-car, an interesting idea big marathon game from San Francisco to New York.
