Planet Cracker

Planet Cracker — arcade indie top-down shooter in the fantasy genre. It was known that a large piece of earth had been broken off by powerful gravity cables and taken inside a Planet Cracker-class ship, where it was opened and the ore content was studied. Mining ships used gravity cables to pull massive sections of the planet up for processing from inside the ship's mining deck. In the entire history of the CEC's efforts to hack planets, only one operation out of three dozen produced less than optimal results. Eleven years before the cataclysmic events on Aegis 7, a mining operation at Wanat, believed to be a mining colony, resulted in the loss of planets, three supply ships, and the colony due to gravity tether failure.
