Pokemon Gold, Silver came out on the Game Boy Color back in 1999. The first time I got my hands on it was back in 2009 and it immediately hooked me. So what is the secret of her success?
Graphics:
Nowadays it is very fashionable to judge games by their graphics, and laptops can produce a picture equal to medium-high on a PC. The graphics in the second generation (Pokémon games are divided into generations. At the time of writing, the 8th was released) are hopelessly outdated. But for a portable console in 99 it was very cool.

Pokemon Gold, Silver вышли на Game Boy Color в далëком 1999 году. Впервые же я до неë дорвался аж 2009 и она тут же меня зацепила. Так в чëм же секрет еë успеха?
Графика:
Сейчас очень модно судить игры по графике, а портативки могут выдать картинку, равную средне-высоким на ПК. Графика во втором поколении (игры про покемонов делятся на поколения. На момент написания вышло 8-е) безнадежно устарела. Но для портативной консоли в 99 это было очень круто.
Сюжет:
Да про сюжет особо ничего и не скажешь. Мы играем за 10-го мальчика (в Pokemon Crystal можно выбрать девочку) который отправляется по просьбе профессора в путешествие.
