A wonderful re-release of a classic from Sid Meier!
A unique game of its kind, combining almost all aspects of pirate life.
At the beginning, under our command we are given a cunning little ship, which can be sunk by almost any oncoming ship. Although, with a bit of luck and skill in controlling a ship in active combat, it is fashionable to emerge victorious from a battle with a more powerful opponent.
We can sink ships, board them, capture them and sell them, or make them our own and bring the freedom of the pirate lifestyle to the masses!
You can even besiege cities, forcing them to pay compensation!
Or you can just trade more or less peacefully. But who can resist when a royal galleon loaded with gold floats past? That's it!

Уникальная в своем роде игра, сочетающая в себе практически все стороны пиратского быта.
В начале, под наше командование выдается ушлое суденышко, потопить которое может практически любой встречный корабль. Хотя, с долей везения и сноровки управления кораблем в активном бою, модно выйти победителем и из баталии с более мощным соперником.
Мы можем топить корабли, брать на абордаж, захватывать и продавать или сделать его своим и нести свободу пиратского образа жизни в массы!
Можно даже осаждать города, вынуждая их платить отступные!
А можно просто более-менее мирно торговать. Но кто же удержится, когда мимо проплывает груженый золотом королевский галеон? То-то!
