Silent Hill 2 - Greetings to all fog lovers! I literally finished the game this afternoon and started New Year's Eve+ to max out the game + platinum, and I want to share my impressions.
Plot - I've never played or seen the film adaptations of the Silent Hill universe, so I'm only familiar with it from the game clips and memes featuring the franchise's characters. I don't think there's any point in explaining the plot, as any gamer knows it. For those who don't know, the main character, James Sunderland, heads to the foggy town of Silent Hill. Incidentally, I still can't quite grasp the game's lore (partially). I'm giving it a PLUS because the plot is original.
Silent Hill 2- всех любителей тумана приветствую, буквально в полдень прошёл игру и начал НГ+ для выбивания максимума из игры + платина, и хочу поделиться эмоциями.
Сюжет- Я никогда не играл и не смотрел киноадаптации по вселенной Silent Hill, по этому знаком с ней только из отрезков из игры, и мемами с данными героями франшизы. Объяснять сюжет думаю нет смысла так как знает любой геймер, ну а если кто не знает, то главный герой по имени Джеймс Сандерленд направляется в туманный город Сайлент Хилл, к слову я до сих пор не могу уловить лор игры (частично). Ставлю ПЛЮС, так как сюжет оригинальный.
It's a really cool game, I only started getting interested in this franchise because of it, but I liked the original more than the remake.

Incredibly hilarious game. The combat is many times better than the original, now James can dodge attacks from monsters, and not just spam one attack. Well, having understood the motion sets and learned to fight monsters, somewhere in the middle of the game you stop being afraid at all, which greatly spoils the perception of this thick atmosphere of the remake. And, realizing all the delights of combat and “that now these monsters are locked with me,” another problem emerged - the remake will be delayed. Half the game is boring fillers that were added just to stretch out the time. Even Yamaoka’s soundtrack doesn’t help, because it feels like it was driven into a neural network: “play some scary music, something in the spirit of SH,” it’s so bland. Неимоверно ржачная игра. Боёвка в разы лучше орига, теперь Джеймс умеет уворачивается от атак монстров, а не только спамить одну атаку. Ну и, поняв мувсеты и научившись сражаться с чудищами, где-то в середине игры перестаешь бояться вообще, что очень сильно портит восприятие этой густой атмосферы ремейка. И, осознав все прелести боевки и "что теперь это монстры заперты со мной", вылезла другая проблема — ремейк затянут. Половина игры — скучные филлеры, которые добавили лишь для растягивания времени. Даже сандтрек Ямаоки не спасает ибо ощущается словно в нейросеть вбили: "забацай страшную музычку, что-нибудь в духе SH", настолько пресный.
