Sonic and the Black Knight is a game in the platformer and action-adventure genres, and is made in three-dimensional graphics. Like Sonic Unleashed, the virtual camera transitions seamlessly from 3D to 2D perspective. The game is controlled using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers: the first gamepad is responsible for attacking or dodging enemies, and the second is needed to control the character.
