The Dark Pictures: Little Hope is the second game in The Dark Pictures series. The game follows four students and their professor who find themselves in the abandoned town of Little Hope. In the 17th century, a real witch hunt took place there, and the heroes begin to experience nightmarish visions. As with the previous installment, Little Hope will support local co-op as well as online mode for two people.

I just finished the game, my impressions are mixed.. On the one hand, a good plot, on the other, an absolutely unsuccessful horror game that tries to be Silent Hill, but all attempts merge into fighting monsters through qte scenes and stupid monotonous jump scares... They would just make it slightly mystical detective, why are these Silent Hill-like monsters in chains, which you defeat by pressing the button that is shown on the screen?) + the plot branches are not entirely debugged (NOW THERE WILL BE A SPOILER) As an example, at the very beginning, in order to survive, John needs to give up drinking, but I the guy is normal and didn’t refuse.. Только что прошел игру , впечатления смешанные .. С одной стороны неплохой сюжет , с другой абсолютно неудачный хоррор , который пытается быть Сайлент хиллом , но все попытки сливаются в борьбу с монстрами через qte сцены и глупыми однообразными скримерами ... Делали бы просто слегка мистический детектив , к чему эти Сайлент хиллоподобные монстры в цепях , которых побеждаешь нажав кнопку которая показана на экране?)+сюжетные ветви не совсем отлажены ( СЕЙЧАС БУДЕТ СПоЙЛЕР)Как пример , в самом начале что бы выжить , Джону нужно отказаться от выпивки , но я парень нормальный и не отказался .. A truly scary interactive movie, reminiscent of the Silent Hill games.
There is also a very unexpected outcome in the game. Perhaps the coolest final twist in the last 5 years. The theme of split personality, or rather quintuple (in terms of the number of characters), is well explored.
That is, in the end it turns out that there was only one character, and this is the same bus driver we were looking for the whole game, and it looks like he has a crazy personality.
Really, the developers are geniuses, they made the plot even more interesting than the plot of the conventional Silent Hill 2. Действительно страшное интерактивное кино, отсылающее к играм серии Silent Hill.
Ещё в игре очень неожиданная развязка. Пожалуй самый крутой финальный поворот за последние лет 5. Хорошо раскрыта тема раздвоения личности, а точнее разпятирнения (по количеству персонажей).
То есть, в конце оказывается, что персонаж то был один, и это тот самый водитель автобуса, которого мы искали всю игру, и похоже, что у него шиза.
Вот реально, разработчики — гении, сделали сюжет ещё более интересным чем сюжет условного Silent Hill 2. Всю игру волноваться за нескольких персонажей, но оказывается, что зря?
