The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by mutant zombies and gangs. In another reality, the world has been conquered by a tyrannical empire, but some people have created a resistance that, with the help of advanced technology, travels back in time to change the disastrous future. In their fight to rewrite the fate of the world, players will explore ruins and enemy areas, craft weapons and equipment, build bases, control vehicles, and battle the elements and formidable enemies.
