The Matrix Awakens is a technical demo based on the film “The Matrix: Resurrection”, created on the Unreal Engine 5. Lana Wachowski and other co-authors of the original film personally took part in the creation. There are two sections available: pursuit and free exploration of the city. Both of them show the capabilities of UE5. Exploration mode supports free camera mode. You can also change the world settings — the level of lighting, the number of cars and pedestrians on the streets.
