I went through it several times and now, when the first impression has subsided, I see some shortcomings in this masterpiece: a simple plot (which, however, is compensated by the excellent development of quests), boring combat, bugs, bad voice acting, but all this, nevertheless, even now is not prevents you from fully enjoying this gorgeous game

The game is, of course, simply incredible! The plot, atmosphere, gameplay - everything is not up to par, even despite the fact that the game is already 5 years old! I highly recommend it both to fans of the fantasy genre in general and to connoisseurs of Sapovsky’s work in particular.

An incredible continuation of the story of the witcher Geralt. I disappeared from the game for a long day, filling up the entire disk with screenshots and screen recordings. The atmosphere is amazing, from the sound to the picture. There are bugs, but not critical, rather funny.

You can experience The Witcher without even reading the book, but you should understand that this is one Universe with the same heroes, but a slightly different story. Even third-party quests keep you hooked; you want to explore the world for hours.

In my opinion, the game turned out just great, I also want to look at several points of this game, namely:

A wonderful game, one of the most beautiful at the moment, despite the fact that it was released several years ago. Interesting plot narration and excellent character development. The only negative is the unknown places, because if you intend to complete the game completely, then by the end of the story you will simply get tired of collecting contraband and looking for treasures, in which there is really nothing good.

Well, what can we say. I played all the parts, waited a long time for the release of the final part and did not regret it.

What I would like to briefly say about the game is an open living world, many events - camps, lairs, villages. Exploring the huge map is interesting even after 100 hours, the fast travel mechanism will appeal to those who like to shorten distances, and Roach is suitable for those who like to admire the surroundings.

As for the storyline, it is varied, interesting and well-developed characters, side quests not of the “find-kill” and “find-bring” kind, but with humor and sometimes with references.

The combat system is one-button, without any builds. The pumping is conditional. The music is out of place and very monotonous. Handling a horse couldn't be worse. Plot "Ciri, Ciri, where are you Ciri?!" After finding her, she leaves to “save the world” somewhere behind the curtain. Only the card game was not bad, the graphics and open world were not of much use, because it was empty and monotonous.

Having played more than 100 hours, I want to play again and again. The world is huge, you can always stumble upon interesting places or just problems.

A casual player can follow the story or side quests on minimum difficulty. The hardcore player is offered difficulties that can challenge the most skillful player. Several options for Geralt's development increase replayability, and the presence of different options only strengthens the desire to play through the game again and again.

Unlike many other modern games, the developers seriously bothered with the subject of nonlinearity. You can follow the paved path, or you can turn to the side and start the story quest from a completely different place. As I already wrote in one of my reviews, very often I don’t want to waste time on long games because they take time away from other projects. But The Witcher is a game in which I simply lived at the time. I gave her all my free time. I looked for all the quests that were in the game, trying not to miss anything, even the “?” icons, although usually there was nothing interesting there. What do I have to do with this person who doesn’t buy games at full price, and bought the Witcher with a 50% discount for the basic version without DLS. But when I finished the main game, I simply couldn’t wait and bought the “season pass” set for the full price and didn’t regret it one bit, because the additions turned out to be almost better than the main game.

An excellent game that continues the story of the first and second parts, where the Witcher fights with different monsters, the best part of the series, in second place for me are Assassins of Kings, because its plot is good, and the music in the Witcher is simply excellent, like in the Assassin, only a little I played, but I know that the game is great!

Well, a very long story. I completed the first two locations, and was so tired of playing that I had to delete it, and hope that someday I will return to this masterpiece. I'll start with plot. The storyline is related to the Wild Hunt. This is a horde of ghostly horsemen in steel armor. They don’t even have to fight with anyone, since everyone runs away at the sight of them. I won’t spoil it, but I will say that the plot is very addictive. The side missions are well done. Each such mission is unique. Both in the story and in the extras. mission is a choice, which often has consequences in the future. The consequences can be both small and large.
