Tropico 2: Pirate Cove

Tropico 2: Pirate Cove — the gameplay is very similar to that in the original Tropico, but with its own specifics. Here the player controls a pirate island with all the ensuing consequences. As a pirate king, the player must make the rest of the pirates happy, which involves looting and stealing more. The workers on the island are prisoners taken on raids, from wrecked ships or from countries with which an alliance has been concluded. Prisoners are the basis of the economy; all buildings and production are made by their hands. They occupy the majority of jobs. A prisoner can be promoted to pirate. Skilled prisoners are engaged in more skilled work; an ordinary prisoner cannot perform such work. There may be many goals in the game as the scenario progresses, but the main goal is the same as in the original Tropico — to stay in power.
