WWE Smackdown! Here Comes the Pain — The games introduced a more complex capture system, while maintaining the fast-paced gameplay of the series. Along with the new grappling system, there are new body damage indicators and submission meters (both for the one applying the hold and for the one breaking out of the hold), as well as the ability to break a hold when touching the ropes and individual character scales consisting of statistical data (such as strength, endurance and speed). Here Comes the Pain also featured the Elimination Chamber match and Bra and Panties match for the first time in a wrestling game.
