X-COM: UFO Defense — turn-based tactical strategy with an isometric camera view in a sci-fi setting. The game takes place in 1999. Concerned about the increasing reports of UFO sightings and abductions, the governments of Earth establish the X-COM service, which is designed to protect humanity from extraterrestrial aggression if such a threat turns out to be real. The player acts as the head of this service.
