With the Baldurs' Gate 3 update, one of the easiest quests has become almost impossible to complete
The latest patch for Baldur's Gate 3 has unexpectedly complicated the quest chain in the Shar temple. Now, to complete the Leap of Faith quest, you will have to remove some artifacts from your inventory.
Closer to the end of the tests of the goddess Shar, we need to cross the abyss, walking on invisible slabs. Some players simply drank a potion of jump or flight, or flew to the very end of the puzzle in druid form.
However, with the new patch, the chances of successfully passing over the abyss have sharply decreased. Players on Reddit have discovered that jumping has stopped working, and attempting to use a flight enchantment with turn-based mode returns the heroes to the start.
In addition, the test cannot be passed at all if the character has the Blood of Lathander mace or a moon lantern in their inventory. Also, you cannot illuminate the road with the Daylight spell; the player will immediately fail. Apparently, the developers decided to emphasize the nature of the goddess of darkness Shar.
Now you can only complete the Leap of Faith challenge in the way that the game offers.
