The Final Shape add-on for Destiny 2 leaked online before release
Bungie has encountered a large-scale leak of The Final Shape addon for Destiny 2. The add-on was supposed to be released on June 4, but due to an error, PlayStation owners were able to complete some of the story missions today.
Almost all the DLC content has appeared online, including new mechanics and equipment, quests, videos, and even the plot of the add-on. According to one of the players on Reddit, he gained access to the addon through a cloud streaming service on PS5. Instead of loading an old save, the service simply updated the game with all the new content.
According to users, Bungie and Sony have already disabled servers for PC players in an attempt to prevent the leak. However, some gamers were still able to continue playing offline. The network has already been flooded with screenshots and gameplay recordings of Destiny 2: The Final Shape.
According to players, responsibility for the leak lies entirely with Sony. According to some reports, some users gained access to the Elden Ring DLC in the same way.
