Rumor: new Fable will be shown at the Xbox Games Showcase

The Verge journalist Tom Warren said that the new Fable could be shown at the Xbox Games Showcase presentation. He suggested that the game will be released in 2025.

«I'm expecting to see Fable, potentially with a 2025 release window too,» the journalist wrote on social networks. In his forecast, he also indicated October 25 as the release date for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

Let us remind you that the new Fable was announced in the summer of 2023 at the Xbox exhibition. The presentation turned out to be controversial: many players did not appreciate the non-standard appearance of the new heroine in the cinematic video. Since then there has been no information from the developers about the project.

Fable is being rebooted by Playground Games. The game will be released on PC and Xbox Series X/S, but there is no release date yet.
