The other day, users shared disappointing statistics for those wishing to play Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree. It turns out that only a third of gamers defeated the boss, which is required to open access to the add-on.
One of the players noticed the list of achievements on Steam. If you believe him, then only 39% of PC users at the time of writing received the «Shard owner Mog» achievement. This is quite an important observation, because to access Shadow Of The Erdtree you need to defeat Mog, Lord of Blood. The transition to a new location is located right behind the boss arena, which you simply cannot get around.
The official Bandai Namco account also noticed this and issued the following warning:
Some players decided to help others fight Mog in order to open access to the expansion. For example, this is what a user with the nickname Let Me Comet Him did. He chose the character's name specifically: it is a reference to both the famous Let Me Solo Her and the long-range spell «Azur's Comet». These spells were most often used by mage players to help others.
Let Me Solo Her also did not stand aside. The legendary winner of Malenia asked other players to leave summoning signs at the Mog and Radan arenas:
The Shadow of the Erdtree expansion will be released on the night of June 21 on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and PS5. By the way, we recently prepared a large guide on how to get to the DLC in the fastest way.
