Forza Horizon 4 online on Steam breaks records after announcement of imminent withdrawal from sales
June 27, 2024, 01:01 PM
The Forza Horizon 4 race has updated its own record on Steam for the number of players online. Let us remind you that yesterday the Playground Games studio announced the imminent withdrawal of the game from sales due to the expiration of the license.
Judging by SteamDB, immediately after this news the number of players jumped to 48,000. The last time Forza Horizon 4 set a record was back when it was released on Steam in 2021 — then 40,000 gamers played the race at the same time.
The racing simulator will be removed from sales on December 15, after which it will be unavailable both on Steam and Microsoft Store, as well as on Game Pass. The last festival in the game will take place from July 25 to August 22.
