The sequel to the shooter Splitgate has been announced
1047 Games has officially announced Splitgate 2, a sequel to the free-to-play multiplayer shooter reminiscent of a mixture of Portal and Halo. The game has already acquired a page on Steam.
Like the original Splitgate, the sequel will be a free-to-play 4v4 arena shooter where teams of players can compete against each other using portals. There will be several factions to choose from with their own skills and various equipment that can be upgraded. A distinctive feature of the sequel will be improved graphics — the game is being developed on the Unreal Engine 5.
Splitgate 2 will be released in 2025 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One; you can add it to your wishlist here.
Let us remind you that the first part was released in 2019 and received good ratings from players — its rating on Steam is 90%.
By the way, today there was a release of the action game Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn about the struggle between people and gods.
