Bethesda employees form first full-fledged union at Microsoft
Bethesda Game Studios employees announced the formation of the One BGS USA union, which includes almost 250 members. Microsoft has already recognized the new organization, and now employees intend to reconsider the terms of the contract with the company.
It is noteworthy that the Bethesda union accepted employees of various specialties into its ranks, from developers to artists. Previously, a similar organization was formed by testers from Activision and ZeniMax Studios. Now, within the walls of Microsoft, the first association has appeared that will protect the rights of workers of different specializations.
We, a majority of developers at Bethesda Game Studios Dallas, Rockville, and Austin, are ecstatic to announce the formation of our union with @CWAUnion. Together as #OneBGSUSA, we advocate for the betterment of every developer at BGS, setting the new standard for our industry.

Let us recall that Microsoft previously closed four ZeniMax Media studios, including Arkane Austin and Tango Gameworks.
