Rumor: release date of Phantom Blade Zero, an action game in the spirit of Sekiro, has been revealed
It seems that the developers of Phantom Blade Zero have let it slip regarding their plans for the release. According to rumors, the energetic action game in the spirit of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Devil May Cry will be released in 2026.
This was reported by trusted gaming blogger JorRaptor in his review of the demo version of the game, which was provided by the developers. From them, he heard that the project is planned to be released in the fall of 2026. According to his personal impressions, Phantom Blade Zero still needs polishing and is missing a significant part of the content, so this date seems credible.
Among other things, JorRaptor talked about new details that he noticed in the demo version:
- The game takes about 30-40 hours;
- There are souls mechanics, but in a more forgiving version;
- The balance and difficulty are well developed;
- You can use combinations of attacks and parries, there is parkour;
- There are about 30 types of weapons in the game, some of which drop from bosses;
- The plot will have several endings, after which you can continue exploring the world;
- Multiplayer levels have been implemented.
Earlier, the creators of Phantom Blade Zero showed a fresh gameplay trailer, timed to coincide with an exhibition in China.
