Modders increase Cyberpunk 2077 performance by 40% and fix graphics issues
Mod developers SammiLucia and Xerme have released a new version of their graphics addon for Cyberpunk 2077. It increases FPS by 40% and speeds up path tracing performance.
The updated Cyberpunk Ultra Plus Engine Control Panel and Hotfixes mod makes numerous visual fixes to the game (such as removing black dots), adds several new path tracing modes, and fixes image «noise.» As the developers themselves write, the frame rate of Cyberpunk 2077 increases by 40% with this mod, and path tracing becomes 58% more efficient. Among other things, it fixes sharp FPS drops and «stuttering,» crashes in the Steam version of the game, increases shadow detail, removes borderline noise on the skin and hair of NPCs, and adds a whole list of other cosmetic changes to the graphics.
You can download the Cyberpunk Ultra Plus Engine Control Panel and Hotfixes mod here. For correct operation, you will need the Cyber Engine Tweaks addon.
Another similar mod was previously released for Cyberpunk 2077, fixing graphics issues. The developers are also looking for specialists for photorealistic graphics in the sequel.
