The final boss of Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree turned out to be an enemy from Dark Souls 2

Dark Souls 2 fans experienced an unexpected deja vu in the battle with the final boss Radahn in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. It turned out that the enemy's moveset was almost entirely taken from the second part of Dark Souls.

Repeated content in FromSoftware games no longer surprises anyone, but this discovery was unexpected. A player with the nickname XumetaXD shared his discovery on Reddit, and his post quickly reached the top of the community. In fact, the boss turned out to be just a fast version of the Vengarl Corpus from Dark Souls 2.

Thus, the Demi-Human Queen Gilika turned out to be just the first phase of Oceiros from Dark Souls 3, and the Avatar of Erdtree borrowed a lot from the Vanguard from Demon's Souls. The same goes for a large number of other creatures and enemies from Elden Ring, whose roots go back to characters from other FromSoftware games.
