Silent Hill 2 Remake: Physical Copy Reveals Two Nostalgic Easter Eggs
Silent Hill 2 remake is set to release next week, but some lucky individuals have already gotten their hands on physical copies. Several photos of the boxed editions are already online, and long-time fans of the series have noticed a couple of references.
According to one of the images, the standard version of the game will have a reversible cover, with the reverse side featuring art from the original Silent Hill 2.
Additionally, users appreciated the original design of the disc, adorned with the inscription: «There was a hole here. It's gone now.» The developers recalled the mysterious inscription encountered during the game's playthrough and placed it near the central slot.
The release of the updated version of Silent Hill 2 will take place on October 8 on PC and PS5, with reviews starting to come out on the 4th. Previously, developers from Bloober Team hinted that they are working on another Silent Hill project.
