Silent Hill 2 Remake copies have been handed to players ahead of release

Despite the fact that there is at least a week left until the release of the Silent Hill 2 remake, some gamers have managed to get their hands on copies and even play through the game. As expected, there will be a lot of spoilers online soon.

One Reddit user said that his friend has already acquired a copy of the Silent Hill 2 remake, and shared a screenshot of his game progress to confirm it. Most likely, this happened due to a mistake by a local retailer, which is not uncommon. The player himself praised the remake, comparing the quality of execution to the Resident Evil 2 remake.

A (non-spoiler) video with new gameplay of the Silent Hill 2 remake was also recently presented. In a short eight-minute video for Tokyo Game Show 2024, James explores a hospital and fights one of the nurses.
