Next Fest has kicked off on Steam (running until October 21), allowing gamers to try out a multitude of projects for free. The service now features hundreds of new demos spanning various genres. We've picked out some of the best ones for you.

Ten Cool Demos:

  • Legacy: Steel & Sorcery — An online action RPG with both PvP and PvE elements. Players will explore a fantasy open world, hunt for treasures, and level up their characters. Demo available here;
  • Mandragora — A 2.5D action RPG with Metroidvania and Souls-like elements. Demo available here;
  • VOIN — A first-person action roguelike with RPG elements, where you must fend off hordes of demons. Demo available here;
  • Delivery Driver Service — An open-world car sandbox where you need to restore the region's infrastructure and overcome challenges left by a devastating hurricane. Demo available here;
  • KARMA: The Dark World — A cinematic psychological thriller set in a dystopian 1984, played from a first-person perspective. Demo available here;
  • The Spirit of the Samurai — A 2D adventure action game about a samurai who must cleanse his village of demons, aided by a warrior cat. Demo available here;
  • Sancticide — A post-apocalyptic third-person RPG action game with a dynamic combat system and flexible character progression. Demo available here;
  • The Precinct — A police simulator in the spirit of the GTA series. Demo available here;
  • Empire of the Ants — A photorealistic ant simulator where you can build your own empire. Demo available here;
  • AI LIMIT — An anime-style action RPG that feels like a mix of Bloodborne, NieR Automata, and Genshin Impact. Demo available here.
