The Witcher 3 received three fan DLCs with new locations, plot, armor and bosses
With the release of the REDkit modding tool, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has effectively received a second life in the form of fan add-ons. Recently, modders released three more major DLCs for the game with new stories, locations and monsters.
As part of the CD Projekt RED competition, the game received several plot modifications. The first of them, Beast of the Blood, sends Geralt in search of a terrible creature. On the outskirts of the village of Lindenvale, the witcher discovers a strange bear statue and begins to investigate a whole chain of events.

The second fan add-on, Of Kings and Killers, will tell the story of the legendary witcher Gerd from the School of the Bear, who unwittingly began to serve Eredin from the Wild Hunt. Judging by the description, at the end of the quest, players will face a fight with a dangerous boss who will be able to use both Signs and the abilities of the Wild Hunt. Upon completion of the DLC, they will be given a set of new unique armor.

Another add-on-sized modification will confront Geralt with a familiar threat. The Spider and The Wolf add-on will offer an intriguing quest designed for two hours of play. The witcher will need to investigate a new case and save the Northern Kingdoms from evil and dark forces.

Earlier, enthusiasts transferred the add-on from The Witcher to the engine of the third part. The Witcher 3 also received a fan prequel about Ciri's homeland.
