Red Dead Redemption PC launched with over 144 FPS
It's only been a short time since the PC version of Red Dead Redemption was released, and modders have already started improving the game. One of them has released an addon that removes the frame rate lock.
The ClipTweaks — FPS-DOF-FOV and more mod removes the 144 FPS limit, changing the maximum value to 1000 FPS. With this addon, Red Dead Redemption produces a frame rate in the range from 90 to 200 FPS and higher. It is noteworthy that removing the lock did not harm the physics of the game in any way.
You can see a demonstration of the mod below:
You can download ClipTweaks — FPS-DOF-FOV and more from this link. To install the mod, you just need to copy the files to the main folder. You also need to select 144 FPS in the game settings.
Previously, the first RDR was tested on weak video cards — the latter showed themselves very well. Meanwhile, the PC version of the game has already been cracked and leaked to torrents.
