Hideo Kojima Reveals First Kojima Productions Office — Just a Tiny Room with a PS4
November 11, 2024, 03:58 PM

Hideo Kojima recently shared a glimpse into the humble beginnings of Kojima Productions. The game designer posted a photo of a cramped room that served as the studio's first office.
The «office» was so tiny that Kojima was its only occupant. He spent his time planning, watching movies on a PS4, and creating the initial concepts for Death Stranding on his smartphone.
This was the small office when I started the studio. This is where it all began. I planned things here, but since it was so tiny, I was the only one coming in
All I had took was a computer, a monitor, PS4 to watch Bluray), headphones, note, coffee mug, books, umbrella, tissues, and a smartphone. I did most of the concepts on my smartphone
Fans noted how drastically different Kojima Productions looks today, with highlights like the massive statue of Ludens, the studio's iconic mascot.
Kojima Productions' next game, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, is set for release in 2025. Recently, Kojima shared an updated main menu for the game.
