Director of Nobody and Hardcore Henry Helped Shape S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2's Cutscenes
It turns out that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 wasn't crafted solely by GSC Game World—Russian director Ilya Naishuller also contributed to the project. Known for films like Hardcore Henry and Nobody, Naishuller's name appears in the game's end credits.
Naishuller is credited as the motion capture director and also voiced a character known as Nimble. Notably, players have frequently praised the game's high-quality cutscenes.
The director has not yet publicly mentioned his involvement in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. Last year, he shared a photo with Hideo Kojima, and soon after, songs by Naishuller's band, Biting Elbows, were featured in the director's cut of Death Stranding.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 launched on November 20 for PC and Xbox Series X/S. For insights into how critics received this long-awaited release, check out our coverage here.
