Two More Secret Messages Found in Silent Hill 2 Remake
While the reimagining of Silent Hill 2 follows the original, Bloober Team has added new content for conspiracy theorists. Recently, fans have discovered two more secret messages and even managed to decipher their meaning.
The first can be heard from TVs throughout the city. It turns out that they transmit some kind of code in the form of a series of clicks, which becomes more distinct if you muffle the background noise. Players tried to translate the sounds into Morse code, and got the phrase «again and», which is played by TVs endlessly. This is likely further evidence for the recent theory that James is stuck in a time loop in Silent Hill.
Another message is broadcast by a TV in the Woodside apartment complex. A set of clicks translates as «Why did you do this, James?» It is already obvious that this is about the protagonist's feeling of guilt over Mary's fate.
This is clearly not the last mystery of the Silent Hill 2 remake solved by fans. Most likely, the community will find many more riddles and Easter eggs, reliably hidden by the developers. For example, hints about James' dark past were recently found in the game.
Earlier, the Silent Hill 2 remake returned a creepy detail in the form of «breathing» walls in the battle with Abstract Daddy. The game also received a patch with various improvements and bug fixes.
