The developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl have released the first major patch 1.0.1, which should fix an impressive number of bugs and errors. The 14 GB update improves optimization, animations, game balance, and much more.
Main details of the update:
Fixed NPCs that got stuck while walking to the mission location;
Added sound effects for Burer's telekinetic abilities;
Burer no longer snatches quest items from the player's hands;
Fixed NPCs getting stuck near the shelter during the Emission;
Fixed the problem with NPCs flying after their death;
Reduced the cost of repairing weapons and armor;
Mutants no longer become invisible;
Improved optimization;
Fixed problems with memory leaks;
Artifacts have become significantly more expensive, as have most mission rewards;
Changed the balance of the game depending on the selected mode, fixed the combat system;
Fixed some cutscenes and facial animations;
Fixed some story and secondary missions;
Solved some problems with enemy AI.
