Steam has once again set a new record for the number of users online simultaneously, reaching 39.2 million gamers. This milestone was achieved on December 8.

As for the most popular games, Marvel Rivals (peak online — nearly 481,000) and Path of Exile 2 (peak online — 578,000 players) recently broke into the top five projects by concurrent users.

Incidentally, we previously reported that a class-action lawsuit is being filed against Steam. Some developers accuse Valve of monopolizing the PC gaming market.

In October, Steam set a record for the number of games released.
