New Military Shooter EXFIL with Realistic Bullet Physics and Dynamic Weather Released on Steam Early Access
Publisher MicroProse Software and developer Misultin Studios have launched a first-person shooter called EXFIL in Steam Early Access. According to the creators, the game will be enhanced with sandbox elements.
EXFIL primarily focuses on multiplayer. The developers have announced plans to gradually expand the game with new features and content. For instance, they aim to develop a special mode where players can create their own game scenarios, whether it's competitive PvP battles or PvE missions.
The early version offers just two modes: Classic Extraction and Rogue Extraction. In the first mode, teams battle on a map, racing to extract intel as quickly as possible. The second is described as an intense, asymmetric "cat and mouse" mode, where a small group of operatives must outsmart a stronger team using intel to escape and secure victory.
EXFIL features six expansive maps with a day-night cycle, dynamic weather, and interactive environments.
"Whether it’s rain, fog, or even sandstorms, you’ll need to adapt on the fly – meaning no two matches are ever the same! Each map brings something different to the table, with dense forests, industrial zones, military camps, and more", — the description reads.
Other features include fully modeled bullet physics.
In the near future, the developers promise to add a scenario editor, NPCs, slot inventory, and global player stats to the game.
EXFIL can be purchased on Steam for $25.5 with a 15% discount available until December 25th.
