A Look at How Cyberpunk 2077 Has Transformed Over the Last Four Years
A few days after the release of update 2.2 for Cyberpunk 2077, a video surfaced online showcasing how the game has changed since its launch in December 2020. The comparison was made on the PlayStation 5 console.
In the video, you can see how the tire physics, water and explosion effects, jumping from moving vehicles, bullet marks, environmental and character detail, and other graphical elements have evolved over the four years.
As observed, the developers have indeed significantly transformed Cyberpunk 2077 during this time. For instance, water previously showed little reaction to gunfire, whereas now you can see splashes during shooting. The same goes for bullet marks. In the release version, they could flicker and disappear, but now those issues are no longer present.
As a reminder, a secret quest was recently discovered in Cyberpunk 2077, where gamers can earn unique rewards. It was inspired by the popular card roguelike Balatro.
