In the 2.2 update for Cyberpunk 2077, players have discovered a secret quest with unique rewards. It's connected to Balatro
As it turns out, the 2.2 update for Cyberpunk 2077 has brought a lot of surprises to the game. One of them is a secret quest that can be described as a crossover with the popular card roguelike Balatro, which is based on poker rules.
To start this quest, a character named Jim B. must contact the player. He explains that a gang of jokers is operating on the streets of Night City, weaving intrigues and aiming to become the kings of gambling. He will offer V to track down these villains.
Once the main character accepts the mission, Jim B. will start sending photos of locations where items are hidden. Players need to collect these items by carefully exploring the area and paying attention to graffiti featuring a joker.
When V collects all the necessary items, they will receive a special prize (the Balatro trophy) — three souvenir cards featuring Jackie, Rogue, and Johnny Silverhand. Additionally, while tracking down the final target in this quest, V will be able to find a unique t-shirt with a Joker image.
Radek Grabowski, the Global PR Director, has already commented on this quest.
As a reminder, we previously reported that update 2.2 for Cyberpunk 2077 introduced the ability to hang a painting with any image.
