Silent Hill 2 Remake Game Designer Wants to Create a Fantasy RPG Horror. He Considers the World of LOTR Suitable
Mateusz Lenart, the creative director and game designer of the Silent Hill 2 remake at Bloober Team, shared in a recent interview the universe he would like to create a game for.
As it turns out, he would like to make a horror game with RPG elements in a fantasy setting. He considers The Lord of the Rings franchise, mentioned by the interviewer, to be suitable for this, although it would be a challenging task.
According to him, the world created by John Ronald Reuel Tolkien is largely black and white, and creating a horror game in this setting would be a real challenge.
As a reminder, Bloober Team is currently working on the survival horror game Cronos: The New Dawn, which combines Eastern European brutalism and retrofuturism. Additionally, rumors suggest the studio is also developing a remake of Silent Hill 3.
