Saints Row 4 Source Code Leaked

The source code of Saints Row 4 has leaked to the 4chan forum, Reddit users reported. The archive with data weighs almost 60 GB.

The link and password for downloading the distribution were posted by one of the anonymous forum visitors, who had previously created a topic with the title «F**k Embracer Group». Recall that in 2023, Embracer Group closed the studio that developed the Saints Row series. Probably, the anonymous leaker decided to take revenge in such a simple way, by handing over the source code of the fourth part to fans. Having access to it, modders will be able to breathe life into the once popular series.

Recall that Saints Row 4 was released in 2013 and received positive reviews from players. In 2022, the humorous crime action game received a free upgrade to the Re-Elected edition. At the same time, the extremely unsuccessful reboot of the series was released, which finally buried the Volition studio.

Earlier, screenshots of the future game from the creators of Days Gone leaked onto the Internet. Probably, the new project will be a game-as-service with multiplayer.
