PC Gamer Names the Best PC Game of 2024

The editors at PC Gamer have revealed their picks for the best games of 2024. Topping the list is the card-based roguelike Balatro, which also competed at The Game Awards 2024.
The publication praised the game for its incredibly addictive gameplay. Its simple rules and the thrill of building your deck have made Balatro one of the most popular games of the year. Even CD Projekt RED acknowledged its success by adding several Balatro-themed cards and a cyber-Jimbo t-shirt to Cyberpunk 2077.
