SMITE 2 Adopts F2P Model: Now Available for Free Download on Steam, EGS, and Consoles
The third-person MOBA action game SMITE 2 has transitioned to a free-to-play distribution model, as previously promised by the developers. It's worth noting that the game entered early access in August last year and received 59% positive reviews.
Notably, Founder’s Editions are still available for purchase, offering various in-game bonuses and access to future additional gods.
The F2P version of SMITE 2 includes the following content:
- 45 gods, including the recently added Aladdin and his genie;
- 6 game modes;
- An enhanced version of the "Conquest" map with new objectives;
- 20 Path options to choose from.
Additionally, the developers have reported numerous fixes and optimization improvements since the early access release.
SMITE 2 is built on the Unreal Engine 5. In the game, players engage in battles with each other, playing as various mythical gods.
