Creator of Co-Op Hit It Takes Two Unveils New Gameplay for Split Fiction
A new exclusive trailer for Split Fiction, the latest co-op game from the creators of It Takes Two, has been released on the Chinese video platform BiliBili. Lead developer Josef Fares once again elaborated on the game's storyline and showcased fresh gameplay footage.
Split Fiction follows two writers, Mio and Zoe, who are trapped in special machines designed to steal their ideas. The protagonists must navigate simulations of their own worlds—one being a sci-fi enthusiast, while the other is enamored with magic and dragons.
The new trailer highlights some of the challenges players will face. One particularly amusing level features a futuristic setting where Mio rides a motorcycle while Zoe struggles to solve a CAPTCHA.
Split Fiction is set to release on March 7, 2025, for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. System requirements can be found here.
