DeTechtive 2112 Release Date Trailer Unveiled — New Action Game Blending Noir and Cyberpunk

The developers of DeTechtive 2112 have released a new trailer showcasing gameplay footage and revealing the exact release date. The project is described as a narrative-driven action-adventure set in a cyberpunk world with an isometric camera view.

The main action takes place in the year 2112, specifically in the future England. The protagonist is Matthew Wallace, a World War III veteran turned private detective. He takes on unofficial cases that no one else wants to solve, assisted by his secretary, Abigail.

"Together, they uncover the dark secrets of the city's elite, facing the ghosts of Matthew's past in a series of interconnected cases", — reads the description.

The game features five unique cases, each with its own mini-story. There is both a single-player mode and a co-op mode supporting up to four players.

Key features include an original aesthetic that combines noir and cyberpunk elements. DeTechtive 2112 is being developed on the Unreal Engine 5. The release is set for January 29 on Steam, with a page also available on EGS.
