Nine Dots Studio used a new trailer shown during the Triple-i Initiative show to confirm that Outward 2 will head to PC Early Access on February 8, 2027. It will be sold on Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
The Early Access launch was originally scheduled for July 7, 2026. After an open test, the studio postponed it in June, less than a month before the planned release, saying players had asked for more development time. Nine Dots Studio plans to use community feedback to develop the Early Access version, with 12 to 18 months expected before version 1.0. -
