Tokyo Xtreme Racer Released on Steam to Rave Reviews from Players

Today, Tokyo Xtreme Racer, a racing game about Japan from Genki, was released in early access. In just a few hours, the game has received a high rating on Steam and praise from players.

As a reminder, in early access, the project offers half of the story campaign, about 200 opponents and 50 cars to choose from, as well as car customization and extensive racing tracks. Players who have tried the gameplay overwhelmingly praise the race — the atmosphere, music and physics received special attention. Among the shortcomings, they note a small budget, controversial sound effects and graphics.

At the time of writing, Tokyo Xtreme Racer has 97% positive reviews based on 270 reviews.

As a reminder, on the eve of the release, the developers of the racing simulator revealed the system requirements. Additionally, Tokyo Xtreme Racer will be sold for $30 for all four months of early access, after which the price will increase.
