Ubisoft Unveils The Animus Hub, Dubbed the «New Home for Assassin's Creed»

Ubisoft has revealed details about The Animus Hub, previously known as Assassin's Creed Infinity. According to the developers, it is much more than just another launcher.
Here's what we know:
- The creators describe The Animus Hub as "a new home for Assassin's Creed, offering a fresh perspective on the beloved series";
- The Animus Hub will be integrated into Assassin's Creed: Shadows, but this should not significantly affect the game's launch speed;
- In addition to Shadows, The Animus Hub will support other series titles: Assassin's Creed: Origins, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and Assassin's Creed Mirage. All future franchise games will also be integrated into this platform;
- Key features include four main sections: Memories (where games are launched), Projects (special missions with various bonuses for games), Exchange (where new gear can be obtained), and Vault (containing information about the Assassin's Creed storyline);
- Automatic updates for supported games;
- An integrated reward system that players can access for free;
- Special missions where players can earn unique virtual currency (Keys);
- Players can view historical events from Assassin's Creed through a special timeline;
- Customization elements are supported for each game;
- The interface showcases the player's character with the equipment chosen in-game;
- Weekly updated special activities;
- Text summaries of completed missions;
- Players can unlock additional lore information about Assassin's Creed;
- The system supports both digital and disc versions of games;
- An integrated knowledge library, consisting of images, descriptions, and videos about Assassin's Creed;
- The Animus Hub will be available on all current platforms.
Recently, Ubisoft also released the trailer and system requirements for Assassin's Creed: Shadows, set to launch on March 20 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, macOS, and iPadOS.
