Game of Thrones: Kingsroad RPG Launches on Steam Early Access

Netmarble has released Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, an adventure RPG, on Steam Early Access. The game is based on the popular TV series of the same name, which is in turn inspired by George R. R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" novels.
As of the time of writing, the game has mixed reviews, with a 54% rating.
Currently, the game is available for purchase starting at $25 in the US region, but it will transition to a free-to-play model after its full release.
Game of Thrones: Kingsroad features an open world that allows players to explore various kingdoms of Westeros, including iconic locations like King's Landing and the Wall. The main character is the illegitimate son of a minor Northern house (House Tyra), who seeks to restore his family's honor after the death of his brothers and the looming threat of winter.
The game is highlighted by its intriguing storyline, ARPG-style combat (featuring dodging, parrying, and unique skills), various classes (knight, mercenary, and assassin), and cooperative gameplay. According to the description, a single-player mode is also available, though some gamers have complained about the requirement for a constant internet connection.
The game is set to launch later on iOS and Android. The Early Access period will last for at least four weeks.
